The Global Informatics Collaborative (GIC) Sandbox is a collaborative environment that enables stakeholders to learn about, explore, experiment with, and share products, solutions, and experiences for digital health.
The Sandbox is the platform that both supports and disseminates products developed by the Technical Assistance Platform (TAP) GIC.
Country Support
TAP supports the U.S. President’s Emergency Plan for AIDS Relief (PEPFAR) countries and the overall global community in defining and directing shared global goods to implement and maintain informatics savvy organizations to support the management of health conditions that are significantly impacting the wellbeing of people across the world (e.g., HIV, COVID-19, and more).

Introducing the HIS Project Management Toolkit
Manage your Health Information Systems (HIS) projects and interventions leveraging the best practices captured in the HIS Project Management (HIS PM) Toolkit
The development of HIS products for global use is supported by the U.S. President’s Emergency Plan for AIDS Relief (PEPFAR) through the U.S. Centers for Disease Control (CDC) TAP central mechanism under the terms of a cooperative agreement. These products are solely the responsibility of the funding recipients and do not necessarily reflect the views of the United States Government.
