Introduction
The purpose of this document is to outline the functionality needed for an HIV CBS system from a programmatic perspective. Descriptions of necessary components are agnostic to specific technologies and implementations.
A country typically needs some variation of the components described in this document. Components may be at different levels of maturity, and not all components need to be at the same level for CBS to be implemented. Countries should also consider their unique programmatic requirements to determine the full scope required.
